Los Angeles fabrics firm launches new activewear division and appoints sales VP

Asher Fabric Concepts, a Los Angeles-based supplier of knitted fabrics for the activewear and fashion markets, has hired Jolie Fierro as vice-president sales for a new, dedicated active athletic concepts division. The division will launch a new collection of performance knits targeted at the fitness, yoga and athletic markets this spring.
 
Prior to joining Asher Fabric Concepts, Jolie Fierro spent 14 years as senior account manager for McMurray Fabrics, servicing the intimate apparel, swimwear and activewear industries.
 
“I am delighted to be a part of taking this domestically-manufactured, innovative and fashion-forward activewear collection to the market place,” she said of her new role.
