Rogers says new Poron product will work well in baselayers

Rogers Corporation, maker of Poron cushioning materials, has announced XRD 810 Delta, an addition to its XRD impact protection range.

Like other products in the range, the XRD 810 Delta is based on open-cell technology and offers what Rogers has referred to as “an unparalleled level of conformity and range-of-movement while remaining very light in weight”. Delta shapes in the material are specifically designed to absorb broad, blunt forces while keeping the volume and weight of the material as low as possible.

The company has said it believes baselayer products with impact protection in the thigh, rib or forearm areas will be ideal applications.
