China’s yarn production reached 38.8 million tonnes in 2014, rising by 7.4% compared to 2013.

Polyester staple fibre exports in 2014 totalled 891,033 tonnes, an increase of 21.4% compared to the figure for the previous year and viscose staple fibre exports reached 243,929 tonnes last year, up by almost 40% compared to 2013.
