Tanatex aims to make FR finishes easier to apply

Dutch textile chemicals manufacturer Tanatex has announced that it will present its Express FR Concept at the Techtextil 2015 exhibition in Frankfurt (May 4-7).

In the build-up to Techtextil, Tanatex said its aim is to help companies that want to apply flame-retardancy functionality (FR) to clothing and often have to rely on third-party partners to carry out this operation. With Express FR, the company said, it will be possible for protective clothing manufacturers to add the required special flame retardant product in the dyebath, with no additional finishing process necessary, saving water, energy and time.

Tanatex said the concept had been developed specifically for polyester.
