bluesign conference open to the public for the first time

Swiss certification company bluesign will hold its fourth conference in St Gallen, Switzerland, on July 13 and 14 this year. For the first time, the 2015 event will be open to the public.

Representatives of the textile, chemical, accessory and machine industries will use the two days to discuss subjects including finance for sustainability projects, and the role chemicals and machinery manufacturers can play in making the textile value chain more sustainable.

Founded in 2000 and now 80% owned by Hong Kong-based inspection, verification, testing and certification company SGS, bluesign ran successful conferences in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
