Call for papers for 2016 Textile Institute World Conference

The organisers of the 90th Textile Institute World Conference, which will take place in Poznan, Poland, from April 25-28, 2016, have issued a call for papers.

People interested in giving oral or poster presentations at the event now have until July 31 to make their submissions. These should include the title of the proposed presentation and a 200-word abstract and can be sent by email to submissions@tiworldconference.org.

Main topics that the organisers have asked prospective presenters to focus on include innovation in the use of natural fibres, environmentally friendly polymers, sustainable textile technologies, functional textiles (including those for sports, protective, cosmetic and smart textile applications), medical textiles, dyeing and finishing technologies and the textile factory of the future.
