Huntsman names new president of performance products division

Huntsman Corporation has named Monte Edlund as the new president of its performance products division, succeeding Stu Monteith, who is to retire at the end of August.

Mr Edlund will take up his new position on July 1. He has worked at Huntsman since the 1990s when the company acquired his previous employer, Rexene Corporation. He has held senior positions at Huntsman since 1997, when he became vice-president with responsibility for polymers.

Prior to this new appointment, he was vice-president for the Americas region of Huntsman’s advanced materials division.
