Singer finds her own gymwear solution

Canadian singer Stacey Jackson is set to launch her own range of gymwear under the brand name, Staefit.

Key to the development is her use of hypoallergenic ultra-absorbent material, which Ms Jackson has said she was motivated to do after consistently suffering from skin rash after working out.

Stacey Jackson believes many women suffer from skin irritation after spending too long in sportswear, either at the gym or afterwards, with the area around the breast particularly susceptible. Having searched, to no avail, for a solution, she set to work on coming up with a collection of her own.

Staefit sports tops have a built-in bra in fabric with high levels of moisture-wicking capacity as well as silver-based antibacterial and anti-odour technology. The top also has a front-closing zip making it easier and quicker to remove than traditional pull-over, vest-style tops. The range also includes capri and long workout leggings made with the same absorbent fabric with compression panelling.
