New TWD owners could make further acquisitions

In recent comments to specialist media in Germany, one of the 4K Invest partners, Markus Zöllner, said technical textiles will continue to be of great importance to the company, which produces polyamide 6.6 under the Timbrelle brand and polyester under the Diolen brand.
Mr Zöllner said TWD would develop new products and he said further acquisitions were also a possibility. He said speculative talks to this end have begun already, but gave no further detail. He made it clear that he and his colleagues recognise the importance of finding the right balance between commodity products and “individual specialties”.
