Garment factory inspection programme to go ahead in Vietnam

07/08/2015
The labour ministry in Vietnam has committed itself to an inspection programme for garment factories between now and the end of October.

Local media have said the inspections have the backing of the International Labor Organisation (ILO) and will take place in 12 different garment manufacturing centres across the country. Assessments will cover overtime hours, salaries, safety, training and other aspects of workforce conditions.
