Mammut rated as a ‘Leader’ by Fair Wear Foundation

12/08/2015
In recognition of its commitment to fair working conditions in 2014, Swiss outdoor brand Mammut has won a ‘Leader’ rating from Amsterdam-based non-profit organisation the Fair Wear Foundation, which works with companies and factories to improve labour conditions for garment workers around the world.

The ‘Leader’ rating is awarded to companies that demonstrate best practice in campaigning for fair working conditions. The rating is based on a detailed annual review of a member company’s activities, processes and procedures, carried out by two experts from the Fair Wear Foundation. The findings of this review are then summarised and published in a comprehensive report.

This report is intended primarily as feedback and guidance for the respective members. It also gives interested stakeholders a deeper insight into a brand’s social performance.
