Shimano to open new experience centre in the Netherlands

Cycling equipment and footwear brand Shimano is to open a new sports and leisure complex in Valkenburg, the Netherlands, in 2017.

Visitors to the site, a former brewery, will be able to experience fishing and rowing (the brand’s other two specialisms) as well as cycling and discover what Shimano has called “fun ways to get involved in these exciting sports”, based on giving visitors access to new Shimano technology and virtual reality displays.
