BASF lifts Force Majeure on polyamide products

30/09/2015
Chemicals manufacturer BASF is lifting a Force Majeure declaration for polyamide 6.6 compounds Ultramid A and Capron PA6.6 with immediate effect.

Production problems in the company’s hexamethylenediamine (HMD)-plant at Seal Sands in the north of England have been resolved. As a result, BASF has said it is in a position to lift the Force Majeure declaration that it announced in June this year.
