Sciessent adds a new DWR finish to its product line

Antimicrobial and odor adsorption solutions provider to textile and apparel manufacturers Sciessent has released a new, fluorocarbon-free durable water repellent (DWR) fabric finish called CURB.

The company said its new DWR solution will be able to “easily, effectively, and affordably provide enhanced, breathable protection from rain and moisture without the use of harmful fluorocarbons”.

CURB is also compatible with Sciessent’s Agion Active XL and Lava XL, two of the brand’s odour control technologies.
