Italian wool specialist Angelico acquires UK weaver

Italian wool fabric producer Angelico has acquired a UK weaving company, Marling & Evans of Huddersfield. Angelico said on making the announcement that this move would help Marling & Evans expand its business.

Its spring-summer 2017 collection draws on Angelico’s expertise. “Superior natural fibres combine in lightweight fabrics and broad patterns that are typical of British tradition: silk-cotton, wool-linen, lightweight wools in which faux uni and classic designs predominate, revisited in a brand new selection of bright colours,” Angelico said in its description of it.
