Export revenues up and order books healthy for Vietnamese apparel sector

Vice-chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), Pham Xuan Hong, has told local media that the country's apparel exports brought in $27 billion in 2015.

He said most textile and apparel companies have good levels of orders from export customers and said his organization is predicting a year-on-year increase of 10% this year to reach export revenues of $30 billion for 2016.
