Thailand seeks move to technical textile production

Somsak Srisuponvanit, chairman of the National Federation of Thai Textile Industries, has said Japanese investors want to find local partners to develop technical textiles in Thailand.

In recent comments, he said the Thai industry’s export levels of $8.6 billion should increase by 10% in 2016, but that a move to production of technical textiles can boost this by considerably more in future.
