Puma’s ongoing growth contributes to Kering’s 7% rise in Q1

Luxury group Kering has reported revenues of €2.7 billion for the first quarter of 2016. This repesents an increase of 4% compared to the same quarter in 2015.

Sales generated by the group’s sport and lifestyle activities were up by 7% on a comparable basis.

The group’s biggest sports brand Puma “confirmed its solid growth trajectory in all product categories, footwear, apparel and accessories, and in all regions, particularly Asia-Pacific and western Europe” Kering said.
