Pentland Brands makes 2016 ‘Best Workplaces’ list

The parent company of sports and outdoor brands Berghaus, Canterbuy, Speedo, KangaROOS, Mitre, Prostar and others is the industry’s only representative on the UK’s list of best workplaces for 2016. Pentland Brands came eleventh overall but was the highest-ranking family company on the list, as well as being the only representative of sports and outdoor.

Commenting on the result, chief executive, Andy Long, said: “As a family-owned company, we care about people. If our employees feel valued and engaged with the business, we’ll get the very best out of them, and they’ll get the most out of their time with us.”
