Gola goes for flat-knit upper

UK-based sports footwear brand Gola has joined the ranks of those using flat-knit technology to make uppers.

Its spring-summer 2017 collection will include a shoe called Tempe, which has a flat-knit, one-piece upper with seamless construction. Gola has said breathability, stretch and support are among the main benefits of using the material.
