Change at the top for Nike basketball in NBA contract build-up

Sports brand Nike has appointed Craig Zanon as its new vice-president and global general manager for basketball, replacing Michael Jackson, who held the position for only two years.

Mr Zanon has worked at Nike for 25years and has held a series of senior roles during that time. Next year promises to be an important one for Nike in basketball as it takes over from rival adidas the contract to produce uniforms for the 30 National Basketball Association (NBA) teams.
