Prato yarn companies prepare joint sustainability report

A group of manufacturers in the yarn value chain in Prato in Italy is preparing a combined sustainability report.

Six local companies Filpucci, Industria Italiana Filati, Lanificio Dell’Olivo, Pecci Filati, Pinori Filati and New Mill have combined to form the Consorzio Promozione Filati (CPF), which means ‘yarn promotion consortium’. They have already adopted a sustainability protocol, which includes self-assessment tools for themselves and for their suppliers.

They view the publication of an inaugural CPF sustainability report as an important next step.
