ICA event to return to home city

07/07/2016
The annual trade event of the International Cotton Association (ICA) will take place this year in Liverpool, UK, the city where the organisation was founded in 1841. The ‘Liverpool 2016’ event will take place from 20 to 21 October and marks the ICA’s 175th anniversary.

“This year’s event is a fantastic opportunity for us all to come together to celebrate our past, present and future and it seems only fitting that we hold it in Liverpool, where it all began 175 years ago. I know it will be an event to remember and I hope many will be able to join us,” said ICA President, Jean-Marc Derossis.

The event will allow members of the cotton industry to network and there will be presentations from leading trade figures on the issues currently facing the cotton trade. A closing gala dinner will be held in the city’s St George’s Hall building.
