Nine bluesign certifications for Bemis in 2016

Seam tape and film technology provider Bemis Associates has announced that nine of its products have won approval under the bluesign system for sustainable textile and garment production in the course of 2016. Bemis’s bluesign success this year takes its total number of certified products to 21.

Products to have won approval so far this year are the Exoflex film, three products in the colourful Outtec collection of tapes and films, and five new seam tapes.

“When it comes to sustainability, we focus on a simple statement: being good to what we love is good business. That goes for our products, people and planet,” said Heidi Montanari, environmental health and safety officer at Bemis Associates.
