EU registers record trade deficit with China
The European Union’s trade deficit with China reached €180 million in 2015, a record figure.

Last year, China exported products worth €350.4 billion to the EU, while goods going the other way had a value of €170.4 billion. The figures come from Eurostat, the official statistics body of the European Union.

Manufactured goods, including garments and footwear, accounted for 97% of exports from China to the EU.
