French outdoor industry body to have new head in 2017

French outdoor industry trade association Outdoor Sports Valley has announced that Remi Forsans will step down from his position as executive director at the end of 2016 after seven years in the role.

His successor at the start of the new year will be current general manager, Anne Schott, who has worked alongside Mr Forsans for more than six years.

Outdoor Sports Valley works to unite French companies in the outdoor sports industry, concentrating on economic development, employment, education and training, promoting participation in outdoor sports, sustainable development, and innovation. It has almost 400 member companies that represent more than 480 brands and employ a combined total of 7,500 people.
