SATRA’s China laboratory wins accreditation for safety shoe testing

Research and testing body SATRA has announced that its laboratory in Dongguan now has accreditation to approve safety footwear and safety gloves under EN ISO 20344: 2011 and EN ISO 20345, and EN 388: 2003 and EN420 standards, respectively.

Generarl manager of the Dongguan facility, Liam Donnelly, said on announcing the development that there has been a significant increase in demand from China for safety footwear and glove testing. He added: “We are benefitting from having a laboratory and expertise in Dongguan that is trusted for testing and certification by Chinese companies and international brands.”
