A rising star of Brazilian tennis, Thiago Monteiro, has begun the new year as a Joma-sponsored athlete. He wore clothing and footwear from the Spanish sports brand at the ATP event in Chennai, his first tournament of 2017.

Thiago Monteiro rose 381 places in the world rankings in 2016 and started this year at 82. This means Joma’s tennis stable now has six players in the men’s top 100. In addition to the Brazilian, Alex Dolgopolov, Pablo Carreño, Nicolás Almagro, Marcel Granollers and Albert Ramos all wear Joma.
