It is awarded to a brand or company that has shown innovation in the design and construction of activewear, with an emphasis on improving the comfort of the wearer.
Arborwear received the 2017 prize for its Cypress Shirt, a woven work shirt that features technology designed to keep the wearer relaxed and comfortable. Among its features is sun protection built into the fabric to shield the wearer from UVB rays.
“There’s been great value and a strong following of Arborwear because of our partnership with drirelease,” said Bill Weber, president of Arborwear. “We are very fortunate to have this exposure and be this year’s recipient of the drirelease Innovation Award.”
“We are proud to recognise Arborwear’s passion for comfortable, hard-working apparel with the 2017 Innovation Award,” added Lee Thompson, head of East Coast business development for drirelrease. “Using innovative design and materials, Arborwear has led the way in creating the next generation of the classic woven work shirt.”
