Errea Sport signs deal with Formula One team

Technical sportswear manufacturer Errea Sport has agreed a partnership with Formula One team Sauber. It will see the Italian company provide the racing outfit with specially designed sportswear and travel clothing.

The deal comes into effect in time for the 2017 Formula One season, which gets underway at the end of March in Melbourne, Australia.

Errea will also create car covers for Sauber, as well as a range of officially licensed merchandise for the team’s fans. The company’s logo will appear on the headrest of Sauber’s cars. 

"We are very pleased to welcome Errea on board as an official partner to the Sauber F1 Team," said Sauber team principal Monisha Kaltenborn. "A successful family business, Errea maintains its position as an important player in the competitive sporting goods industry. State of the art manufacturing techniques are the key for success - not only in the sporting goods industry, but also in Formula One."

Angelo Gandolfi, president of Errea, described Sauber as a “like-minded, ambitious team”. He said the company would look to replicate the success it has had developing merchandise and teamwear for teams in football, volleyball, basketball and rugby.
