BASF raises prices of polyurethane and elastane raw materials

Chemicals manufacturer BASF has announced increases in prices in the European market for butanediol and derivative products.

Its 1,4-Butanediol (BDO) product will go up in price by €200 per tonne, while the price of its polyetramethylene ether glycol (PolyTHF) produce will increase by €260 per tonne.

Polyurethane and elastane are among the products BASF’s customers make using these products.
