Maharashtra textile park gets green light

Reports from India suggest that the state government of Maharashtra has at last given the green light for a project to set up an industrial park for the textile sector in the city of Yavatmal.

It has earmarked almost 100 hectares of available land for the project and has put in place a plan for the necessary water, energy, transportation and other infrastructure.
