CPA launches new textile chemicals certification tool

Non-profit research organisation Clean Production Action (CPA) will launch a new certification for “safer chemicals” in the textile supply chain at the Kingpins denim event in Amsterdam (April 19-20).

The certification programme builds on CPA’s GreenScreen for Safer Chemicals tool, which has been in use in the market for ten years now. The organisation said the certification initiative had come as the result of requests from brands and manufacturers.
