Techtera announces ‘Industry of the Future’ conference

Specialist French technical textile cluster Techtera, which works in the Rhône-Alpes region of France to encourage manufacturers to work together with research bodies and universities to bring innovative textile products to market, has announced a conference on the ‘Industry of the Future’ in the textile sector.

The event, jointly organised with RWTH, the largest technical university in Germany, will take place in Aachen on October 5. It will bring together experts from the textile sector and connected domains, Techtera said on announcing the conference, and will address topics related to the factory of the future, including aspects such as human-robot interaction, production of functional flexible surfaces, additive manufacturing, new business models, product lifecycle management and so on.
