New Suunto sports watch is smaller and lighter

It said on announcing the development that the new watch, the Spartan, is “considerably smaller in size” than previous models, but still offers versatile training features such as daily activity tracking, and heart-rate measurement.
Suunto’s marketing manager, Daniela Tjeder, said at the time of the launch the Spartan watch is aimed at active sports enthusiasts who want high-level features in a smaller, lighter watch. The product weighs 56 grammes.
