Six-city focus for adidas

Sports brand adidas has decided to focus its marketing strategy on six major cities around the world, concluding that if its campaigns are successful there, the products it’s pushing will become sought-after all over the world.

In comments to German media, the sports group’s sales director, Roland Auschel, said its strategy will include establishing sports communities and organising major sports events in each of the six cities.

The six cities it has chosen to concentrate on are Shanghai, New York, London, Paris, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
