08/11/2017
Sports equipment brand Zai is to cease production of its own skis at the end of March and will work with an outsource manufacturing partner instead. While ski manufacture at Zai’s own workshop in Disentis in easter Switzerland will stop, the brand has said the partner it will work with is also based in Switzerland and will make Zai skis in the Alpine country.

Using new money from investors, Zai intends to convert its Disentis facility into a design and development laboratory. And in addition to skis, goggle and helmets, Zai has said it will also expand into new areas such as golf equipment and even textiles.
