European machinery manufacturers come together at Colombia event

The event, which was jointly organised by the textile machinery associations of Belgium (Symatex), France (UCMTF), Spain (amtex) and Sweden (TMAS), took place in Bogotá on October 18 and in Medellin on October 19.
It was supported and promoted by ALCOTEX (the Colombian Association of Textile Techniques and Professionals and of Dressmaking) and ANDI (the Colombian association of entrepreneurs).
The exhibition consisted of a mini fair at which the machinery manufacturers showed videos of their machinery running at their customers’ sites and displayed textile samples produced using their equipment. They also each delivered a 15-minute presentation to the producers in attendance.
The four associations that organised the event said they were very satisfied with its results and added they would continue to explore opportunities for collaboration between European textile machinery associations.
