Giesswein adds children’s range to woollen footwear collection

Austrian footwear brand Giesswein has included children’s shoes in the latest collection of footwear with wool uppers and rubber soles it has made available to consumers in North America.

Giesswein is a family-run company that has been making products using wool, natural pigment dyes, natural latex sealants and hand-applied finishes in the market town of Brixlegg since 1954.

Its new hand-crafted children’s shoes are non-skid, non-marking, machine washable and durable, the brand has said, with soft wool uppers and slip-resistant rubber outsoles.
