New backpack collection from Eagle Creek uses recycled windshields

Backpack brand Eagle Creek has launched a new collection called Wayfinder. The company has described the packs in the collection as “lightweight, versatile and innovative”.

To minimise waste and enhance the collection’s sustainability credentials, Eagle Creek has used a PVC-free coating that comes from car windshields that had gone into landfill. It’s a material that also adds oil resistance and high levels of durability to the finished product, the company said.
