Date change for textile machinery exhibition

The organisers of the combined ITMA ASIA and CITME exhibition, which showcases textile machinery, have announced a change in dates for the 2018 event.

ITMA ASIA + CITME 2018 will go ahead in October in Shanghai, but two weeks earlier than originally planned. The new dates for the show are October 15 to October 19.

In a statement, the organisers said the shift in the exhibition dates is because of “a new national initiative” in China that has affected the scheduling of all events at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai in October.
 
The last ITMA ASIA + CITME combined show in 2016 attracted 1,673 exhibitors from 28 countries and registered more than 100,000 visitors from 102 countries and regions.
