Bangladesh hosts fashion and technology summit

A fashion and technology summit took place in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, on February 12.

Organisers of the event said the aim was to encourage garment manufacturers in Bangladesh to add automation and production efficiency to their businesses.

There were speakers from the US, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Japan and India addressing subjects such as the factory of the future, making the apparel supply digital, mass customisation and manufacturing on demand.

Around 450 delegates attended.
