Five winners of North West Materials show contest named

Organisers of the North West Materials show, which took place last month in Portland, have announced the results of a competition they ran at the event for the first time.

To celebrate the fiftieth edition of the twice-yearly show and the twenty-fifth anniversary of its launch, organiser, American Events, announced an exhibitor competition, inviting participating companies to submit samples of particularly innovative materials.

Visitors to the Portland event were able to see, touch and feel each of the materials and vote for their favourite. In total 35 exhibitors submitted an entry.

American Events has now named five winners to emerge from the poll. They are: plant-based foam developer BLOOM,  footwear technology developer Innovative Performance Lab, fabric and label producer Junmay Label, advanced materials manufacturer Lubrizol, and Taiwanese garment and textile manufacturer Sunnylite Trading.
