Ternua Group aims to speed up its supply chain with Lectra software

Basque outdoor and sportswear brand Ternua has said it has invested in product lifecycle management technology from Lectra to help it expand its international presence.

Founded in 1994, the Ternua Group says it has achieved success by promoting “adventure through respect for nature”, producing sustainable technical clothing for outdoor sports enthusiasts worldwide.

It focuses on developing its own fabric materials such as organic cotton and recycled down; its outsource finished product manufacturing partners are in Europe, North Africa and Asia.
Today, the group’s portfolio includes three brands Ternua, Astore and Lorpen, currently exporting to more than 50 countries.

The group is implementing Lectra’s Fashion PLM 4.0 system into its entire production process to “digitalise” its supply chain. This will connect all teams involved in the design-to-production process, regardless of geographic location. Team members will also be able to communicate better with external suppliers, access accurate information and keep track of every collection’s development progress.

Ternua believes this will speed up the entire production process and help its three brands deliver their collections to markets all over the world on time.
