New POC helmet for enduro and downhill mountain-bikers

Swedish sports equipment manufacturer POC has introduced a new full-face helmet specifically for enduro and downhill mountain-bike riders. The new product’s name is the Coron Air Carbon Spin.

POC said it had developed the new helmet “to maximise ventilation, safety and comfort while minimising weight so that riders to can be protected with advanced technology as they pedal and play with gravity”.

It has done this by maximising ventilation channels and using carbon to construct the helmet. To offer enhanced protection against linear and oblique impacts, it has also included an expanded polypropylene liner as part of its Spin proprietary impact protection system.
