Archroma and Montega set out plan to help Pakistani textile companies

Textile chemicals manufacturer Archroma and finishing effects developer Montega have announced a collaboration aimed at supporting the garment and apparel industry in Pakistan. Archroma will now represent Montega in marketing its products in Pakistan.

One of the biggest benefits the two companies expect to come from the arrangement will be in helping textile companies in Pakistan reduce the volume of water they use and cut greenhouse gas emissions from their textile finishing processes.

Chief executive of Archroma in Pakistan, Mujtaba Rahim, said on making the announcement: “We will be able to share the latest developments with the textile industry in Pakistan, and help grow the country’s contribution in the global textile arena.”
