CEO says Indorama will double its revenues in under five years
Founder and chief executive of Indorama Ventures, Aloke Lohia, has predicted that the polymer, fibre and chemicals manufacturing group will double its revenues in under five years.

In 2017, Indorama earned revenues of $8.4 billion. At the start of 2018, it had 15,000 employees at 75 manufacturing sites around the world.

In recent comments to business media in Thailand, where the company has its headquarters, Mr Lohia said he believe it will take less than five years for Indorama to double its revenues.

“We think most of the over-capacity in our industry is gone now gone,” he said, “and, while the market has consolidated, we expect an upswing thanks to cycle-recovery. We have the scale, our margins are good and we have reliability in the marketplace.”
