High demand attracts European performance textile firms to Shanghai event

The European zone at the Cinte Techtextil China exhibition in Shanghai in September is likely to have around 30 participating companies representing at least eight countries.

Organiser Messe Frankfurt has said demand for European technical textiles is high in Asia and that this is helping attract leading European companies to the event, which will have more than 500 exhibitors in total, and which will run in Shanghai from September 4-6.

“In the eyes of Chinese buyers, European suppliers are still the leaders when it comes to technology and innovation,” Messe Frankfurt said.

Companies in the performance and technical textile value chain to have already confirmed their presence at Cinte Techtextil China include Santized, Arkema, Dakota Coating, Lenzing Plastics, Protechnic and Trelleborg Coated Systems.
