Backpack brand Gregory appoints general manager for Europe

Backpack brand Gregory has announced that Lars Föll will take up the newly created post of general manager Europe on June 1. Mr Föll previously held the position of marketing and sales director Europe at Tumi, which, like Gregory, is part of Samsonite Group.

Lars Föll will work at the company’s headquarters in Belgium and will work with brand manager, Adrian Davison, to expand the brand’s share of the backpack market.

In advance of taking up the post, Mr Föll said he will aim to make Gregory more visible in outdoor stores across Europe and increase its communication activities. He said: “I come from a brand where a love of product detail and a commitment to quality without compromises are very important. At Gregory I see the same thing, extremely functional products with huge potential.”
