New Obuv Rossii factory will focus on EVA footwear

The new factory should open in the third quarter of 2019, the company said on making the announcement, and when it reaches full capacity in 2023 will produce 1.1 million pairs of shoes per year. For these shoes, Obuv Rossii will mainly use EVA and the products will range from flip-flops and clogs to non-slip winter shoes that will keep the snow and the cold out.
Linevo was recently designated as a priority area for economic and social development and Obuv Rossii has said it intends to become one of the first manufacturers to build a new factory there as part of the area’s development. It plans to invest $12 million in the project.
